Policy Statement

It is the policy of CARSQA to offer a professional Assessment, Inspection and Product Certification Service to the retail motor industry and to provide our clients with the necessary specialisation, expertise, practical interpretation, business acumen and approachability to allow them to benefit and perceive value from their experiences with CARSQA.

 

The overall aims and objectives of CARSQA are to be the preferred supplier of companies wishing to obtain these services in the UK.

 

CARSQA seeks to obtain and maintain accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service for:

 

1) The assessment and certification of suppliers quality management systems to BS EN ISO 9001 and Environmental management systems to BS EN ISO 14001 in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17021.

2) The inspection and certification of vehicles, premises, processes and facilities of vehicle breakdown and recovery operators to PAS 43 in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17020.

3) The evaluation and certification of processes as defined within PAS 125 Vehicle Body Repair Specification and PAS 80 Automotive Garage Services, Service and Repair of Vehicles – Technical and Customer Service Specification in accordance with EN 45011 (ISO Guide 65)

 

CARSQA management acknowledges and recognises that to maintain accreditation and provide valid certification it is important to conduct all relevant activities in an impartial manner and control and manage any conflict of interest. CARSQA will ensure the objectivity of all its certification activities by implementing stringent procedures and utilising competent personnel for all functions.

 

The quality system has been documented in this Quality Manual, which is supported by the appropriate procedures and other associated documentation.

 

In order to achieve our policy and objectives, all staff must continue to support, operate and promote our quality system and certification scheme, suggesting improvement where these may enhance our present service.

 

We must react quickly to new challenges and changes within our business to ensure that we continue to deliver a first class service to our customers.

 

Only as a team will we ensure that our policy and objectives are achieved and that our customers needs are realised and exceeded. This will allow industry recognition of CARSQA, as the preferred supplier and market leader in the field of Certification, thus securing a long-term future for us all.
